If you are searching for bohemian wedding ideas for your wedding or elopement, then Alexis and Nate’s wedding will be right up your alley. To say that it was completely on point is an understatement. So why not start with a bit background on this super groovy couple?
Alexis owns a clothing boutique in Newport, Rhode Island called Bohemian Bias (need I say more). She also owns a side business of boho inspired wedding rentals. Her collection includes all types of unique pieces that she has personally thrifted from all over the world. If you are local to Newport, Rhode Island, she is your go to girl. She used all of her own thrifted decor for her wedding and set everything up with her own creative eye. It was fabulous to say the least! To make it even better, Sweet Talk Floral, brought in all the boho blossoms of our dreams!
Nate, the groom, is a musician and a creative just like Alexis. He is also an amazing builder, which came in handy for their wedding reception. He built their reception bar and it was incredible. It included all crafted woodwork and intricate carpentry details. We spent a good amount of time with Nate during the day of the wedding, and he was so down to earth. He wrote Alexis a letter before the ceremony, that brought everyone to complete tears. The way he loves Alexis was so inspiring to see.
The wedding day was filled with so many unique details, it was truly a photographers dream. Take notes, because this gallery is full of bohemian wedding ideas. Alexis wore a gorgeous Rue De Seine dress, with western inspired turquoise earrings, white boots, and a white flat brim felt hat. Nate wore a tan suit with a western bolo tie. They included their adorable pup, Fender, for the wedding festivities as well. All of the bridesmaids coordinated in different tones of rust and tans and the groomsmen matched Nate with their tan suits. Every detail of the day, from color schemes, to decor display, was perfectly thought out.
