Lido Marina Village
Lido Village is the perfect spot for Newport Beach engagement photos. Danielle and Robbie were one of the sweetest couples ever. They are both originally from two different coasts, Danielle being from the West and Robbie from the East. The two met while living in Newport and are now engaged to be married.
We were so excited to photograph their engagement photos at Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach, CA. If you live in the OC area and haven’t checked out the village, it is a must. There are the cutest shops and restaurants, all that look over the beautiful marina views. It is a great place to take a day stroll and walk around or enjoy a date night out together as a couple. They even have boat rentals!
Newport Beach Engagement Photos
We began this engagement session in the village and walked all around the different streets, finding so many cute areas with great photo opportunity. We could have seriously photographed in that general area for hours on end. After about an hour, all of us decided that we were going to take a quick stroll from the village down to Newport Beach for a scenery change. We would end their photos on the beach while we chased the last of the sunlight and enjoyed that salty breeze. I remember it so vividly; the weather that day was gorgeous and the light was so warm and milky.
After finishing up the photos, we all walked back to our cars in the village while chatting and getting to know each other better. Before we headed out, Danielle and Robbie surprised us with a sweet gift. They had bought us a lovely and tasty box of chocolates. It was such a sweet gesture and I won’t lie, we devoured the whole thing within a night or two.
Elliot and I are excited to see what they have in store for their wedding. We like to stay in touch as they plan out all the details. It was so wonderful meeting the two of them! Hopefully the next time we are in Newport, we will all be able to do a little catch up together.
